Heather Burnell

Heather Burnell, MSW, is a High School Social Worker at Batavia City School District. Prior to their current role, Heather served as a Health Home Supervisor, Assistant Supervisor, and Care Manager at Empowering People's Independence. Heather also has experience as an MSW Intern at The Healing Connection Inc. and Jewish Family Service of Rochester, where Heather worked in adoption programs. Additionally, Heather worked as a Residential Counselor at Villa of Hope, a Camp Counselor at Camp Cherith of WNY, and an Intern at Amnion Crisis Pregnancy Center. Heather holds a Master of Social Work degree from Roberts Wesleyan University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economic Development/Sociology from Eastern University.
