Dr. Rachel McMahon

Dr. Rachel McMahon is an experienced Reading Specialist currently serving at Batavia Public School District 101 since August 2012, where responsibilities include supporting struggling readers, assisting the School Leadership Team, and coaching district-level interventions. Previous experience includes roles as a Reading Specialist at May Elementary School and a Resource Teacher at Central Elementary School, focusing on literacy, differentiated instruction, and special education needs. Dr. McMahon holds a Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) in Literacy from Judson University and a Master's degree in Reading Specialist K-12 from Aurora University, along with dual bachelor's degrees in Psychology, Elementary Education, and Special Education from St. Ambrose University.
