Chris Fougner

Chris Fougner is the current Chief Technical Officer at Batelle. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Research Engineer at DeepMind from May 2017 to November 2019. From April 2015 to April 2017, they worked as a Research Scientist - Applied Machine Learning Team Lead at Baidu USA. Chris has also worked as a Research Assistant at Stanford University from September 2013 to March 2015 and as a Senior Software Engineer at Google from December 2019 to September 2021.

Chris Fougner has a Master of Science in Computational and Mathematical Engineering from Stanford University, a BSc in Electrical Engineering and Information Technology from ETH Zürich, and an International Baccalaureate in Natural Sciences from Inter Community School Zurich.

Chris Fougner reports to Damian Kimmelman, Founder & CEO. They are on a team with Gigi Brett - COO, Jason Connor - VP, Fundraising & Commercial.
