Paula Villela

Paula Villela is an accomplished attorney with extensive experience in insurance coverage and litigation. As an Associate Attorney at BatesCarey LLP since May 2020, Paula focuses on insurance coverage matters. Prior to this role, Paula practiced at Pretzel & Stouffer, Chartered, where the focus was on insurance coverage litigation and appellate law from May 2015 to April 2020. Earlier experience includes advising clients on collaborative technology agreements at Ballard, Desai & Miller and serving as a Judicial Law Clerk at the Illinois Appellate Court, drafting opinions on complex legal issues. Additional roles include research positions in the appellate court and legal assistance for domestic violence victims.
