Guy is the driving force behind many of the residential architecture projects undertaken by the Bates Smart Sydney studio. He is a specialist in high density projects designed for the luxury, midscale and student accommodation markets. His approach blends beautiful detailing with smart space planning and high performance in order to create buildings that enhance their context and everyday life.

Guy has also helped drive the growth of the Bates Smart Sydney studio through key competition wins, including Sydney’s tallest residential tower, 8 Parramatta Square and Australia Towers, and Boomerang Tower at Sydney Olympic Park.
