During this time, they also worked on the National Gallery of Victoria redevelopment in Melbourne.

Sazunic began their career as an architect in 1979, working for various architectural offices until 1988 when they took a career break to move to Australia. Mirjana resumed their career in 1992 when they founded Sazunic Projects Pty Ltd.

Mirjana Sazunic has a Dipl. Eng. Arch. from the University of Belgrade in the field of architecture.
