Brenna Benson Lamb has had a varied career in the field of education and consulting. Brenna began their career in 2006 as a Business Analyst for McKinsey & Company. In 2009, they became a Teacher for KIPP Central City Academy. In 2012, they were promoted to Director of Information and Analysis for KIPP New Orleans. In 2013, they moved to Bell Creek Consulting as a Consultant. Brenna then moved to New Schools for Baton Rouge in 2016, where they held the roles of Chief Operating Officer and Managing Director Investment Strategy. In 2022, they will become the Chief Operating Officer for the Baton Rouge Area Foundation.

Brenna Benson Lamb attended Duke University from 2002 to 2006, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts in Public Policy Analysis. Brenna then attended Tulane University - A.B. Freeman School of Business from 2014 to 2016.
