Landon Hester

Landon Hester is an accomplished communications professional with extensive experience in public policy and association management. Currently serving as the Executive Director of the Baton Rouge Bar Association since April 2025, Hester previously worked as the Communications Manager for the Center for Planning Excellence (CPEX) from July 2021 to May 2025 and as Communication Coordinator at the Baton Rouge Bar Association from October 2017 to July 2021. Earlier roles include Executive Assistant at Southern Strategy Group - Louisiana, PR Campaign Strategist at Solid Ground Innovations, LLC, and Communications Intern at the Louisiana Democratic Party. Hester's background also includes legislative support as a Legislative Aide to State Senator Gerald Long and legal assistance as a Law Clerk at Keith P. Richards Law Firm. Hester holds a Master of Arts in Mass Communication/Media Studies and a Bachelor of Mass Communications with a focus on Public Relations from Louisiana State University.
