Erin Callahan

Erin Callahan, CCS, has extensive experience in health information management and coding, with a career spanning over two decades. Currently, Erin serves as the Manager of Quality Coding and Documentation at Baton Rouge General Medical Center, a position held since June 2007, following roles as Inpatient Coding Supervisor and Senior Coding Specialist. In addition, Erin contributes as an Instructor at ITI Technical College since August 2023. Previous experience includes positions as HIM Specialist 3 focusing on birth certificates and quality auditing, Document Associate at Windham Community Memorial Hospital, and Receptionist at Saint Joseph Living Center. Erin's educational background includes an Associate of Applied Science in Health Information/Medical Records Technology from Lincoln College of New England-Southington.
