David Ornstein

David Ornstein is Chief Operating Officer at Baton Systems. He was previously Chief Operating Officer of Global Markets at Barclays Investment Bank, where he guided the business through a period of rapid growth and strategic change. Before Barclays, he held roles with Deutsche Bank, where he was COO of U.S. Credit Markets, as well as at Bankers Trust. Most recently, he has been working in an advisory capacity for several growth companies, providing counsel to CEOs and founders actively scaling their businesses.

At Baton, David is focused on enabling the firm to effectively scale as the number of clients expands with market interest in deploying DLT solutions that deliver tangible benefits in post-trade.

David holds a BS from the US Naval Academy at Annapolis, Maryland, and an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
