John Darrington has a diverse work experience. John is currently working at Idaho National Laboratory as a Lead Digital Systems Architect, where they are leading the development and architecture of a data warehouse called DeepLynx. John is also involved in integration efforts and manages external teams for the project. Prior to this role, they worked as a Digital Twin Research Scientist at the same organization. In this role, they were responsible for developing and integrating the data warehouse into various programs. Before joining Idaho National Laboratory, John worked as a Software Engineer - Subcontractor, where they designed and created an integration with a legacy 3-D modeling software to extract geometry and metadata for data warehousing. John also worked as the Owner of Third House Software LLC, where they managed the company. Furthermore, John has experience working at Kyäni as a Senior Software Developer Team Lead and Senior Software Developer, where they developed and maintained a scalable product catalogs system/API using Go and MySQL. Additionally, they worked at Netmark.com as an Account Manager, where they managed SEO, SEM, and digital marketing clients and achieved positive results for their accounts. Finally, John was the Founder & Community Manager of Grateful Gamers (formerly #GoodGamer), where they played a key role in managing the community.

John Darrington obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Public Relations, Advertising, and Applied Communication from Brigham Young University - Idaho. John attended the university from 2012 to 2015.
