Nicholas V. Smith

Nicholas V. Smith began their work experience as an Offensive Guard for the New York Jets in 2007. Nicholas V. then worked as a Teaching Assistant at UAB from 2009 to 2010. Smith then joined Southern Company in 2010 and held various roles including Research Specialist, Research Engineer, Engineer - Finance, and Principal Engineer until 2019. In 2019, Smith became the Deputy Director at the National Reactor Innovation Center. Nicholas V. is currently working as the MCRE Project Director at Idaho National Laboratory starting in 2021.

Nicholas V. Smith completed a Master's degree in Nuclear Engineering from North Carolina State University between 2015 and 2017. Prior to this, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Alabama at Birmingham from 2009 to 2011. Nicholas V. also holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics from San Diego State University, which they obtained in 2006.
