Daina Zeng

Daina Zeng is a Program Manager at Battelle since May 2022, previously served as Vice President of Research and Development and Senior Director of Research and Development at Arrevus from April 2019 to November 2021. Zeng held the position of Director of Research and Group Leader at Agile Sciences from September 2012 to March 2019, where contributions included leading microbiology R&D activities and securing funding through significant grants. Zeng's earlier experience includes roles as a Senior Scientist/Scientist at Agile Sciences, where responsibilities encompassed assay development, pharmacokinetics, and mentoring junior scientists. Zeng was also Chair of Programs for Women In Bio from January 2013 to May 2014 and worked as a Graduate Research Scientist at Duke University focusing on drug resistance mechanisms. Zeng began an academic career as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the University of Michigan, contributing to the development of a high-throughput assay for ribonuclease P. Zeng holds a PhD in Biochemistry from Duke University School of Medicine and a BS in Biochemistry from the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor.
