Kelly Beierschmitt

Kelly Beierschmitt serves as the President & General Manager of PanTeXas Deterrence, overseeing operations that will manage the National Nuclear Security Administration's Pantex Plant starting November 2024. Prior to this role, Kelly was the Deputy Laboratory Director of Operations and Chief Operations Officer at Los Alamos National Laboratory, leading over 8,800 staff across seven directorates. Previous positions include Deputy Laboratory Director for Science and Technology at Idaho National Laboratory and Associate Laboratory Director roles at Oak Ridge National Laboratory, where responsibilities included advancing nuclear capabilities and managing the Neutron Sciences Directorate. Kelly's career commenced at Battelle, focusing on nuclear assembly testing, complemented by a PhD in Industrial Engineering from Texas Tech University and a Bachelor's in Engineering Mathematics and Chemistry from West Texas A&M University.
