Kyla Rohde

Kyla Rohde is a dedicated professional in the field of ecology and wildlife management, currently serving as a Field Operations Coordinator at Battelle since March 2023, where responsibilities include managing field logistics for the NEON team. With a strong background as a Field Ecologist, overseeing soil and entomology sample collections, previous roles include Wildlife Biologist and Fish and Wildlife Technician at the Alaska Department of Fish and Game, as well as Natural Resource Technician 2 with the State of Alaska Division of Forestry. Kyla has extensive experience as an Invasive Plant Technician and Lead Field Technician at Battelle, demonstrating proficiency in various ecological protocols, data collection, and field research. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Biology with a focus on Ecology, Evolution, and Organisms from Western Washington University, complemented by a background in Communications and Journalism from Seattle Pacific University.
