Public Health Outreach Lead at Battelle

Lindsey Rankin has extensive experience working in the health and wellness field. Lindsey began their career as a Youth Swim Instructor and Lifeguard at the YMCA of Central Ohio from 2010 to 2012. Lindsey then transitioned to working as Sales Personnel at the Fitness and Nutrition Center from 2012 to 2016, where they developed expert knowledge in health products and honed their communication skills. Lindsey furthered their career as a Personal Trainer at The Ohio State University from 2016 to 2016 and Arlington Urgent Care as a Receptionist from 2016 to 2016. Lindsey then returned to the YMCA of Central Ohio as a Personal Trainer & Wellness Coach from 2016 to 2017, where they developed tailored workout regimes for clients. Lindsey also served as a Program Lead for the YMCA's Healthy Weight and Your Child program from 2015 to 2017, facilitating lectures and physical activities for children and adults. Lindsey had multiple roles at the YMCA of Coastal Georgia, Inc. in 2017, including Fitness Director and Fitness and Membership Coordinator, where they promoted programs and organized events. From 2018 to 2019, Lindsey worked as the Regional Chronic Disease Prevention Coordinator and Health and Wellness Director at the YMCA of Central Ohio, overseeing chronic disease programs and building stakeholder relationships. In 2018, they briefly worked as a COIVD-19 Non-Clinical Case Manager at Ohio University. Currently, Lindsey is the Public Health Outreach Lead at Battelle since 2021, leading outreach efforts related to COVID-19 sample collection and managing stakeholder relationships.

Lindsey Rankin earned a Bachelor's Degree in Sociology and Public Health from The Ohio State University from 2012 to 2016. Lindsey then pursued a Master's Degree in Public Health at Ohio University from 2021 to 2023.
