Mike Sheahan

Mike Sheahan has extensive work experience in the field of geology. Mike most recently worked as a Principal Geologist at Battelle since April 2022. Prior to that, they served as a Geological Manager at Navigation Petroleum LLC from August 2017 to January 2022. Before that, they worked as a Geologist at Breitburn Energy from October 2016 to August 2017. Mike also co-founded and served as a Principal Geologist at GeoWolf Energy from March 2015 to 2016. Furthermore, they worked as a Staff Geologist at Summit Discovery Resources from April 2014 to March 2015 and as an Advanced Geophysicist at Marathon Oil Corporation from February 2013 to April 2014. Mike began their career at Devon Energy Corporation as a Geologist II from June 2008 to January 2013 and before that, they worked as a Geoscience Technician at Summit Energy Corporation from January 2006 to January 2008. Additionally, they served in the Illinois Air National Guard as an Aerospace Propulsion Journeymen from October 2000 to October 2006.

Mike Sheahan has a Bachelor of Science degree in Geology from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale. Mike also holds a Master of Science degree in Geology from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.
