Mike Cox has a comprehensive work history in the automotive industry, starting with their role as a Wheeled Vehicle Mechanic in the Oklahoma Army National Guard from 2003 to 2008. During their time there, they managed a team of mechanics and had the opportunity to contribute to humanitarian aid efforts after Hurricane Katrina and Operation Iraqi Freedom in Baghdad.

After leaving the military, Mike worked as a Shop Foreman at Discount Mike's Tire and Auto from 2008 to 2009, where they managed a team of technicians and ensured the proper servicing and repair of consumer vehicles.

From 2009 to 2011, Mike transitioned to Riverside Toyota as an Assistant Service Manager. In this role, they managed and directed the workflow of service repairs and established service needs for vehicle owners. Mike was also responsible for determining sales pricing and estimated repair times.

Mike's most recent and current position is at Crane Carrier Company (CCC), where they have held various roles since 2011. Mike started as a Regional Service Manager and was solely responsible for managing and directing customer service functions for specific product lines in multiple regions. Mike then progressed to become the Manager of Chassis Warranty, Service, and Parts, where they oversaw the operation of the Service and Parts Department, evaluated warranty problems, and prepared annual budgets. Mike was then promoted to Director of Aftermarket Parts and Service, where they directed overall operations, developed growth plans, and ensured profitability for the Aftermarket business. As of 2021, they have assumed the role of Vice President of HQ Services at CCC.

Mike Cox has a diverse education history. Mike first attended Tri County Tech from 2000 to 2002, where they studied Automotive Service Technology. After that, from 2002 to 2003, they attended Lincoln Tech - Nashville and earned an Associate's degree in Occupational Studies in Automotive and Diesel Technology. Later, they pursued higher education at Western Governors University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from 2013 to 2016. Mike then furthered their education at the same university, earning a Master of Business Administration degree in Business Administration and Management, General from 2018 to 2019.

In addition to their formal education, Mike has acquired several certifications. Mike obtained the following certifications from the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE): Master Medium/Heavy Truck Technician, Medium/Heavy Truck Parts Specialist, and Master Automobile Technician. Mike also holds certifications from the Federal Aviation Administration, including an Instrument Pilot Certificate and a Private Pilot Certification. Furthermore, Mike has obtained the Project+ certification from CompTIA and the ServicePro 360 certification from Toyota Motor Corporation. Lastly, they have a Class B CDL certification from the Oklahoma Department of Public Safety.
