Genevieve Korn

Genevieve (Genny) Korn is a skilled engineering professional currently serving as the Laboratory Manager for the School of Chemical Sciences at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign since January 2024. Genny has extensive experience in robotics and automation, demonstrated through roles such as a Banshee team member in BattleBots and as an Automation Research and Development Engineer at Syngenta, where Genny managed the Automation Engineering Innovation Lab. Previous positions include engineering roles at Micron Technology and the University of Illinois DASLab, focusing on controls and instrumentation design, as well as leading student organizations such as iRobotics. Genny holds a Bachelor's degree in Technical Systems Management with a minor in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
