Nora Tallant is an accomplished Senior IT Systems Engineer at SpaceX since January 2017, where management of nationwide data infrastructure and collaboration with specialist IT teams ensure security, availability, and redundancy in technology operations. Currently serving as a Volunteer IT Staff member at the Pacific Battleship Center - Battleship IOWA Museum since February 2022, Nora assists in modernizing the facility. Previously, Nora held the role of Senior IT Systems Engineer at Elite, a Thomson Reuters business, from 2007 to December 2016, leading design and implementation of a global infrastructure. Experience also includes a Systems Support Analyst position at Thomson Elite, and roles in release management and help desk support at Netscape Communications and When.com, respectively. Nora holds an Associate of Arts degree in Photography from Santa Monica College, awarded in 2016.

The National Museum of the Surface Navy is a forward-thinking community-oriented museum located aboard the iconic Battleship IOWA at the Port of Los Angeles – our nation’s busiest port.
