Olga Półchłopek

Olga Półchłopek has a diverse range of work experience spanning various industries and roles. Olga started their career as a Barista at Sweet Surrender sp. z o.o. in 2012. Olga then worked as a Business Analyst at Heyka Capital Markets Group from August to October 2013.

In 2015, Olga joined Billon as a Research Analyst for a brief period from July to September. Olga then worked as a Research Assistant at Vistula University from March 2016 to July 2017. During this time, they also served as an Actuary Intern at Link4 from March to August 2017.

Olga began their involvement with BCG GAMMA in 2018, where they held multiple roles. Olga started as a Visiting Associate Gamma from February to May 2018. Later, from August 2018 to August 2021, they served as a Senior Data Scientist at BCG GAMMA. Their responsibilities included developing reporting and baseline modules for a price-setting optimization engine, running A/B tests to optimize offers and pricing, building profiling systems, deploying fraud detection algorithms, and undertaking various data-driven projects for clients.

In 2021, Olga joined CO2 AI as a Senior (Founding) Engineer from May 2021 to April 2022. Olga then transitioned into the role of a Product Manager from April to December 2022. Their work involved contributing to the development of AI technologies and managing product-related aspects.

Currently, Olga works at Battolyser Systems as a Data Lead, starting from January 2023.

Olga Półchłopek has a diverse educational background which includes multiple degrees and certifications. Olga completed their Master's degree in Mathematics - Machine Learning from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU Amsterdam) from 2016 to 2018. During the same period, they also pursued a Master's degree in Mathematics in Computer Science at the University of Warsaw.

Prior to their Master's degrees, Olga obtained a Bachelor's double degree in Mathematics + Economics (MSEMat) from the University of Warsaw, where they studied from 2013 to 2016. Before entering the university, they attended Liceum Ogólnokształcące św. Marii Magdaleny w Poznaniu from 2010 to 2013, focusing on Mathematics, Physics, and Computer Science. Their education journey began at Gimnazjum nr 29 im. Charles de Gaulle'a w Poznaniu from 2007 to 2010, where they received a bilingual and multilingual education.

In addition to their formal education, Olga has pursued various certifications to enhance their skillset. Olga obtained the "Green Software for Practitioners" certification from The Linux Foundation in December 2022 and the "Product Manager Certificate" from Product School in the same month and year. Prior to that, in March 2021, they completed the "DeepLearning.AI TensorFlow Developer Specialization" offered by Coursera. In November 2020, they obtained the "edX Verified Certificate for CS50's Web Programming with Python and JavaScript" from edX. Additionally, in June 2020, Olga completed the "AI for Medicine Specialization" and the "Deep Learning Specialization" from Coursera, further expanding their knowledge and skills in the field.
