Julie-Elise Pedersen

Julie-Elise Pedersen currently serves as the University Program Coordinator at batyr since July 2023. Prior to this role, Julie-Elise held the position of Legal Secretary at the Public Defence Service in New Zealand from November 2021 to November 2022. Julie-Elise's experience includes internships at The Peace Foundation NZ, where responsibilities involved project work, and at the Institute for Economics & Peace, focusing on communication strategies to enhance the online Peace Academy's outreach. Additional roles include Project Worker at Leirfjord kultiveringsanlegg, overseeing project governance, and Campaign Intern at Amnesty International Norway, managing local campaigns. Julie-Elise has academic foundations with a Master's degree in Peace Studies and Conflict Resolution from the University of Sydney, and a BA in International Relations and Affairs from Durham University.
