Esma Sonya Najar

Esma Sonya Najar is a skilled validation specialist with extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Since 2020, Najar has been employed at Cambrex, focusing on process manufacturing and packaging validation as well as equipment qualification. Prior to this role, Najar worked at Halo Pharmaceutical, Inc. Canada as a method validation analyst, engaged in method validation, analytical transfer, method development, forced degradation studies, and compliance with GMP, GLP, SOP, and ICH standards. Najar's career includes positions at TEVA Canada as an analytical chemist and KABS laboratories as a quality assurance investigator and analyst in the R&D department. Najar began a career in analytical chemistry with roles at Bodycote and served as a course mentor at Lund University. Najar holds an M.Sc. in Analytical Chemistry from The Faculty of Engineering at Lund University and a certificate in Chemical Engineering from Polytechnique Montréal.
