John Lahey

Vice President, Global Clinical Operations at Bausch Health Companies

John Lahey has extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry, with a focus on clinical operations. John is currently working as the Vice President of Global Clinical Operations at Bausch Health Companies Inc. Since joining in April 2022. Prior to this, they held the position of Executive Director of Global Clinical Operations at the same company from July 2018 to April 2022.

Before joining Bausch Health Companies Inc., Mr. Lahey worked at Achillion Pharmaceuticals, Inc., where they served as the Executive Director of Clinical Operations from July 2017 to July 2018. John also held the role of Senior Director of Clinical Operations at Achillion Pharmaceuticals from May 2013 to July 2017.

In addition to their experience at Bausch Health Companies Inc. and Achillion Pharmaceuticals, Mr. Lahey was the President/Owner of Max Q Pharma Services LLC from April 2012 to May 2013. Prior to that, they worked as the Director of Clinical Operations at Gilead Sciences (formerly Pharmasset) from June 2011 to March 2012.

Earlier in their career, Mr. Lahey served as the Director of Clinical Programs at ReSearch Pharmaceutical Services, Inc. from November 2007 to June 2011. John also worked as the Associate Director of Clinical Operations at ALTANA Pharma US. a NYCOMED company from September 2006 to November 2007. Prior to that, they were the CRA Manager for the Eastern US at ALTANA Pharma US from September 2003 to September 2006.

Mr. Lahey began their career at Schering Plough Research Institute in January 1991, where they held the roles of Scientist I from January 1991 to March 1998 and Senior CRA from March 1998 to September 2003.

John Lahey completed their education with a Diploma in College Prep from Cranford High School in 1985. John then obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania from 1985 to 1990. Afterward, they pursued a Master's degree in Biology with a concentration in Pharma Management at Fairleigh Dickinson University, which they completed from 1993 to 1997.
