Jose Cruz

Jose Cruz has a strong background in quality control and compliance within the pharmaceutical industry. Jose started their career in 1987 at GSK, where they worked in quality control and technical services until 1992. Jose then joined Merck in 1993 as a Manager of Quality, a role they held until 2004. From 2004 to 2008, they worked at AstraZeneca as the Director of GMP Systems & Compliance. Jose then transitioned to the role of Regional Head of External Supply at AstraZeneca until 2012. From 2012 to 2018, they worked at Grünenthal Group as the Regional Head of Quality. Currently, they are employed at Bausch Health Companies Inc. as the Vice President of Quality.

Jose Cruz earned a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from Universidad de Puerto Rico from 1984 to 1989. Jose then pursued a Master of Science (MS) in Pharmacy at Temple University from 1996 to 1998.
