Erika Menius

Erika Menius has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Erika is currently working as the Head of Biostatistics at Bavarian Nordic since July 2021. Prior to this, they served as the Sr. Manager, Biostatistics at Bavarian Nordic from October 2017 to July 2021. Erika also worked as a Statistical Consultant on behalf of Bavarian Nordic at Clinical Solutions Group (CSG, Inc.) from May 2017 to October 2017. Before joining Bavarian Nordic, they were the Manager, Statistics at Chiltern from August 2015 to April 2017. Erika was a Principal Biostatistician at Statistics & Data Corporation (SDC) from March 2015 to July 2015, and a Principal Statistician at GSK from April 2014 to March 2015. Erika started their career at Rho in 2006, where they held various positions including Statistical Scientist, Senior Biostatistician, and Biostatistician. In addition, Erika has experience in the education sector, having worked as a Mathematics Teacher at Garner Magnet High School, Cedar Ridge High School, and West Caldwell High School from 2001 to 2006.

Erika Menius earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and Physics from Appalachian State University, where they studied from 1997 to 2001. Later on, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Biostatistics at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill from 2006 to 2008.
