Henrik Juuel

Henrik Juuel is currently the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at Bavarian Nordic. Prior to this role, Juuel served as the EVP & Chief Financial Officer at Orexo AB from 2013 to 2018, the CFO and Executive Vice President at GN ReSound from 2008 to 2011, and the CFO and Corporate Vice President at NNE Pharmaplan from 2006 to 2008. Juuel has also held the position of VP Finance at Dako from 2005 to 2006, and Group CFO at Virgin Mobile CEE from 2011 to 2013. Outside of their experience in finance, Juuel has also worked as a management consultant from 2011 to 2013. Juuel began their career in finance at Novo Nordisk in 1992, where they eventually became the finance director in 1999, a position they held until 2002.

Henrik Juuel has a certificate in Company Direction from the Institute of Directors (IoD). Henrik also has a Cand Oecon in Economics/Business Administration from Aarhus University. Lastly, they have MBA-studies in Business Administration from Université catholique de Louvain.

Henrik Juuel reports to Paul Chaplin, President & CEO. Henrik Juuel works with Jean-Christophe May - EVP, Chief Commercial Officer, Tommi Kainu - Executive Vice President, Chief Business Officer, and Henrik Birk - Executive Vice President, Chief Operating Officer.
