Lana Podolski

Lana Podolski, MD, currently serves as Head of Global Clinical Safety & Pharmacovigilance at Bavarian Nordic since 2023, with a focus on vaccines and oncology. Previously, Lana held the position of Head Global Patient Safety & Pharmacovigilance at Athira Pharma, specializing in neuroscience, from 2022 to 2023. At CSL Behring from 2018 to 2021, Lana was the Global Head of Regions, overseeing international pharmacovigilance efforts. Prior to that, Lana worked at AbbVie from 2010 to 2018 as Therapeutic Area Head for pharmacovigilance across multiple therapeutic areas. Early experiences include serving as Clinical Project Director and Associate Director of Drug Safety at Merck, a Medical Director at Sucampo, and Regional Head at UCB, where roles encompassed medical affairs, clinical trials, and pharmacovigilance.
