Monica Evensen

Monica Evensen has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Monica began their career as a Cleaning and Gardening Assistant with a Hjemmeservice company in 1993 and worked there until 1996. From 2000 to 2001, they worked as a Temporary Employee at Randstad Danmark. Monica then worked as a Canteen Assistant at Novo Nordisk Servicepartner A/S from 2001 to 2004. In 2004, they joined ALS Denmark A/S as a Student-Helper. From 2005 to 2014, Monica worked at Novozymes as a Research Associate, gaining extensive experience in purification and characterization of proteins. Monica also developed skills in enzyme characterization and protein purification using various systems. In 2014, they joined Novo Nordisk as a Technician, specializing in fermentation and purification of pharmaceutical proteins and analysis of purified proteins using various techniques. Monica worked there until 2016. From 2016 to 2019, Monica worked as a Technician at AGC Biologics. In 2019, they joined Novo Nordisk Pharmatech A/S as a Laboratory Technician, focusing on downstream process development and enzyme assay development. Currently, Monica is employed as a Laboratory Technician at Bavarian Nordic, where they are involved in the purification of virus and pharmaceutical proteins as well as downstream process development.

Monica Evensen started their education in 1990 at Espergærde Gymnasium, where they pursued a Matematisk Student degree and completed it in 1993. After that, from 2004 to 2006, they attended Erhvervsakademiet Nordsjælland, specializing in Biotechnology and earning a Laboratory Technician degree.
