Tatyana Timiryasova has extensive work experience in various roles related to analytical development, research and development, and clinical support in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries. Tatyana is currently a Senior Director of Analytical Development at Bavarian Nordic, having started in May 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Emergent BioSolutions as a Senior Director of Analytical Development in their R&D department from May 2022 to May 2023. Before their role at Emergent BioSolutions, Tatyana held multiple positions at Sanofi Pasteur, including Senior Director and Global Head of R&D Sample, Reagent & Animal Services from December 2019 to May 2022. Tatyana also served as Director of Clinical Support in Global Clinical Immunology from October 2016 to December 2019, Deputy Director of Global Clinical Immunology from March 2012 to October 2016, and Scientist in Global Clinical Immunology from January 2005 to March 2012. Prior to working at Sanofi Pasteur, Tatyana worked at Genelux Inc. as the Director of Virology/Senior Scientist from 2002 to 2005. Tatyana also has previous research experience as a Research Associate at Loma Linda University from 1995 to 2002, a Research Scientist at the AIDS Center in Kazan from 1994 to 1995, and a Junior Research Scientist at the Veterinary Research Institute in Kazan, Russia from 1993 to 1994. Additionally, they worked as a Visiting Scientist at the Institute for Biochemistry and Protein Research in the Agricultural Biotechnology Center in Godollo, Hungary from 1991 to 1994.
Tatyana Timiryasova completed their Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (D.V.M.) degree from Kazan State Academy of Veterinary Medicine named after Bauman between 1983 and 1988. Later, they pursued their Ph.D. in Molecular Virology from the Institute of Biochemistry and Physiology of Microorganisms, Academy of Science of Russia, Pushchino, during 1988-1991.
