David D. Funke

David D. Funke has worked in various roles since 2013. David D. began their career as a Laboratory Assistant at the DKFZ German Cancer Research Center in 2013, followed by an Internship as a Software Engineer at SAP in 2014. David D. then completed an Internship as a Laboratory Assistant at Roche in 2014. In 2018, they became a Research Assistant and Software Engineer at Fraunhofer IOSB. In 2020, they completed a Bachelor Thesis at FZI Forschungszentrum Informatik. Most recently, they have been working as a Machine Learning Engineer and Computer Vision and Machine Learning Engineer at RUAG since 2021.

David D. Funke obtained their Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) from 2015 to 2020. Prior to that, they attended Leibniz - Gymnasium Östringen from 2006 to 2015, where they obtained their A-Levels / Abitur in Natural Sciences. David D. also obtained a Computer Vision and Machine Learning Nanodegree from Udacity in December 2021 and a Cambridge English Certificate C1 from Cambridge Assessment English in June 2015.
