Sabyasachi Das

Sabyasachi Das, PhD, is a seasoned expert in liquidity risk management with extensive experience in regulatory reporting and analysis. Currently serving as a Liquidity Risk Expert at BAWAG Group since November 2020, Sabyasachi has a robust background from Sberbank Europe AG, where key roles included Banking Book Manager and Junior Controller & Banking Book Analyst. Notable achievements include the development of automated tools for liquidity calculations and participation in ECB-Liquidity Stress tests. Sabyasachi holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Vienna and a Master's in Statistics from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, complemented by positions as a lecturer at the University of Vienna and research contributions as a Visiting Research Scholar at Southern Methodist University.
