Merlyn Maldonado Lopez

Merlyn Maldonado Lopez is an experienced professional in education and the arts, currently serving as an Assistant Educator at the Bay Area Discovery Museum since November 2022. Previously, Merlyn worked as a Contributing Writer for EnVi Media Group from September 2021 to May 2023, focusing on pop culture, music, and art through article writing and research. Merlyn also held the position of Art Gallery Attendant at Schmucker Art Gallery from September 2019 to November 2022, where responsibilities included enhancing visitor experiences and promoting gallery events. Additionally, Merlyn served as a Student Art Curator at Gettysburg College, organizing and documenting an art exhibition, and as a Communications Intern, supporting the recruitment efforts of the college through article writing and design. Merlyn holds a Bachelor's degree in Art History and Interdisciplinary Studies from Gettysburg College, completed in May 2022.
