Jorge Lopez

Jorge Lopez is an accomplished educational leader and strategic consultant with extensive experience in managing and improving educational systems and community programs. Currently serving as the Interim Executive Director at the Bay Area Hispano Institute for Advancement, Jorge has guided the organization through a critical transition while focusing on youth programs in Berkeley, CA. As a partner at the Aspira Foundation, Jorge leads initiatives that enhance organizational culture and community advocacy, collaborating with various prominent organizations. Previous roles include Strategic Advisor at Arizona State University, where Jorge tackled social and economic inequality, and CEO of Amethod Public Schools, recognized for transforming urban public school systems. Additionally, Jorge has served as a Board Member for the California State Board of Education and led impactful programs for at-risk youth in Sacramento.
