Elizabeth Pond

Elizabeth Pond is a seasoned legal recruiting professional with extensive experience managing law school hiring and recruitment programs. Currently serving as Senior Manager of Firmwide Law School Recruiting at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati since May 2016, Elizabeth oversees the firm's law school hiring initiatives, including the summer program and fall associate integration efforts. In addition to current roles on advisory boards and memberships with various legal recruitment organizations, Elizabeth has held numerous leadership positions within the Bay Area Legal Recruitment Association, demonstrating a strong commitment to mentoring and community engagement. Previous experience includes roles at Goodwin Procter LLP, Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP, and Weil Gotshal and Manges, highlighting a well-rounded expertise in legal recruitment across multiple firms. Elizabeth holds a B.S. in Business Administration from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo.

BALRA's Objectives 1. To promote the quality, image, and reputation of the legal recruiting and law career services professions; 2. To promote the exchange of information regarding the administration and management challenges particular to legal recruitment and placement; 3. To educate legal organizations regarding the value and expertise of legal recruiters and career services personnel; 4. To develop educational programs, and to collect and share information of value to our members; 5. To support the goals and programs of the National Association for Law Placement (NALP) where consistent with the goals and purposes of this organization; 6. To support the American Bar Association's Goal III, the purpose of which is to "Promote full and equal participation in the association, our profession, and the justice system by all persons."
