Courtney Medeiros

Courtney Medeiros began their work experience in 2011 as a Customer Relationship Management Data Manager Intern at Gilbane Building Company. During this role, they reviewed and researched data entries for accuracy and relevance, communicated with data warehouse experts, and provided suggestions for operational improvements.

In 2012, Courtney Medeiros took on a Biomedical Engineering Internship at the University of Rhode Island. Under the guidance of Dr. Ying Sun, they worked on various projects involving biological, electrical engineering, and assistive technology.

The following year, Courtney Medeiros joined Gilbane Building Company again, this time as a National Sales and Marketing Services Technical Writing Intern. In this position, they extracted technical content from architectural, construction, and engineering submissions, inputting them into the firm's value management database. Courtney also assisted in cataloging marketing and sales materials.

Since 2014, Courtney Medeiros has been working at Bay Computer Associates as an Electrical Engineer. Courtney'sresponsibilities at the company include schematic capture, PCB layout, documentation, and customer meetings. Courtney works on a variety of design projects, including medical devices, Bluetooth implementation, and PLC drive circuitry.

Courtney Medeiros obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from the University of Rhode Island, where they studied from 2010 to 2014. In February 2014, they also obtained a certification from the Collaborative Institutional Training Initiative.
