Tyler Defilippo

Tyler DeFilippo has a diverse work experience, starting in 2014 as a Visitor Service Associate at the New Jersey State Park Service, where they led a team in assisting patrons and ensuring park safety. In 2015, they also worked as a Special Event Assistant Coordinator at the Seaside Heights Recreation Department, where they managed weekly bonfires and beach camping nights. From 2015 to 2017, Tyler was an Athletic Facilities Assistant at James Madison University. Most recently, they held positions at the Bay Head Yacht Club, starting as a Dockmaster from 2017 to 2019. Tyler then transitioned to the role of Communications Coordinator and eventually became the Director of Communications in May 2020.

Tyler DeFilippo attended Toms River High School East from 2009 to 2013. Tyler then pursued their Bachelor of Science degree in Sports and Recreation Management at James Madison University from 2013 to 2017. In July 2016, they obtained a certification in CPR and Basic First Aid from the American Red Cross.
