Amanda Salvucci

Amanda Salvucci is an experienced photojournalist currently working at Bay News 9 since August 2018. Prior to this role, Amanda served as a photographer at WSOC-TV Eyewitness News from July 2016 to August 2018, where key projects included coverage of the Charlotte protests. Earlier experience includes a position as photographer/editor at FOX Carolina from August 2014 to July 2016, where Amanda covered major sporting events such as Super Bowl 50 and the 2016 National Championship game. Amanda began the professional journey with roles as a freelance videographer at the University of Maryland and American Journalism Review, as well as an intern reporter at Capital News Service. Amanda holds a master's degree in multiplatform journalism, specializing in video, from the University of Maryland, and a bachelor's degree in broadcast journalism and English from Hofstra University.
