Eugene Buenaventura

Eugene Buenaventura is a skilled photojournalist with extensive experience in storytelling and investigative reporting. Currently employed at Bay News 9 since July 2022, Eugene researches and pitches impactful enterprise stories while utilizing storyboards to enhance narrative engagement. Previously, at News 13 Orlando from June 2016 to June 2022, Eugene produced award-winning investigative stories and developed in-depth documentaries, notably a special on the opioid epidemic's effects on children. During the tenure at KVEW Your Local ABC TV from July 2012 to May 2016, Eugene focused on local enterprise stories within an agricultural community. Eugene holds a degree in Communication with a focus on Broadcast Journalism from Washington State University, completed in 2012.
