John Connelly

John Connelly has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. John started as a Co-Manager at Davis Concessions in 2014 during the Minnesota State Fair. In 2015, they worked as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the University of Minnesota. From 2013 to 2016, they held multiple roles at Engineers Without Borders-USA, University of Minnesota chapter, including Bolivia Program Member, Recruitment Officer, and Outreach Officer. In 2017, they served as a Sustainability Coordinator at Asheville GreenWorks. John then joined Bay West LLC in 2019, where they worked as an Environmental Technician and later as a Field Engineer until 2022. From 2022 to 2023, they worked as an Environmental Scientist at MSA Professional Services. Currently, they are an Engineer II at Bay West LLC, starting in 2023.

John Connelly attended Washburn High School from 2009 to 2013 and obtained a High School Diploma. After that, they enrolled at the University of Minnesota in 2013 and graduated in 2017 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Engineering. In terms of additional certifications, they completed a 40-Hour HAZWOPER Training course in February 2019 at Bay West LLC. In November 2017, John obtained an EIT (Engineer in Training) Certification from the Minnesota Board of AELSLAGID.
