Nicholas Harvey is an accomplished entrepreneur and scientist with extensive experience in materials science and engineering, as well as fintech real estate services. As the Founder and CEO of BayAreaRedwood since August 2018, Nicholas addresses urban tree removal inefficiencies. Prior to this, Nicholas founded Bay Area Token, leveraging data analytics and blockchain technology for real estate management. Nicholas has also contributed to various research roles, including a staff scientist position at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, focusing on creating optical materials, and a summer research scholar role at the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology studying materials chemistry for desalination. Nicholas holds a PhD in Chemistry from the University of California, Davis, and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and Biochemistry from UC Santa Barbara.
