Birte K. Feld

Birte K. Feld, PhD, currently serves as the Director of Strategic Planning and Portfolio Management at Bayer since January 2015, where notable achievements include building an oncology competitive intelligence support function that led to the establishment of a dedicated CI team. Prior to Bayer, Birte held the position of Senior Manager, Business Analysis & Insights at Amgen, providing strategic insights for global oncology product teams. Experience at HealthIQ as Program Director involved leading a team to manage a significant oncology portfolio. Academic background includes postdoctoral fellowships at the University of California, Irvine, and MD Anderson Cancer Center, focusing on anti-cancer research and the development of innovative synthetic strategies. Birte holds a PhD in Chemical Ecology from the Max Planck Institute and advanced degrees in Chemistry from The University of Bonn and Bergische Universität Wuppertal.
