Dave Shum

Dave Shum is a seasoned IT professional with over 35 years of experience, including 25 years in senior IT management roles. Currently serving as the Digital Lead for CMC & Technology at Bayer U.S. LLC, they focus on accelerating digital transformation in the biotech sector. Previously, they held positions such as Executive Sales Representative at Viascan qdata Inc. and Director of IT at Pethealth Inc. Shum has also contributed significantly to the pharmaceutical industry as Head of IT for various companies, including Genpharm Inc. and Merck KGaA. They hold an Honours BA from the University of Waterloo and are pursuing a degree in Business Management at Wilfrid Laurier University.
