Harit K. Bal is a Principal Research Entomologist and Bayer Science Fellow with extensive experience in biological control, integrated pest management, soil ecology, and ecological risk assessment. They completed a Master of Science in Entomology and a Bachelor of Science in Plant Protection from Punjab Agricultural University, followed by a PhD in Entomology from The Ohio State University. Harit has served as a Senior Research Fellow at Punjab Agricultural University, a Graduate Research Associate and Teaching Associate at The Ohio State University, a Postdoctoral Researcher at The Ohio State University, and a Research Associate at Michigan State University. In their current role at Bayer, they support the development and implementation of a global ecological risk assessment strategy for biotechnology-derived insect control products.
