Jens Uhlemann

Jens Uhlemann is an experienced professional in the field of research and development, currently serving as the Open Innovation & Partnership Manager at Bayer Crop Science since August 2008. Jens has held several senior roles, including Senior R&D Project Manager, Head of Global Regulatory Affairs for Environmental Science, Head of Environmental Science - Formulation Technology, Group Head of Formulation & Crystallization, and Head of the Competence Center for Product Design & Nanotechnology. Prior to joining Bayer, Jens held leadership positions at Symrise, overseeing strategic projects and natural flavor production, and worked at H & R as Director of Pilot Plant / Delivery Systems. Jens began a career at Bayer as an R&D Process Engineer. Educational qualifications include a postdoctoral degree in Process Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, and a doctorate in Agroresource Chemistry from Toulouse INP, along with earlier degrees in Chemical Engineering and Process Engineering from respective institutions.
