Katherine Paton-Smith

Katherine Paton-Smith is a Security Engineer at Bayer since August 2023, bringing a wealth of experience in cybersecurity and technology. Previously, Katherine served as an Embedded System Cyber Security Researcher with the Georgia Tech VIP Program from January 2021 to May 2023. Earlier roles include a Security Engineer Intern at Bayer in summer 2022 and an Information Security Analyst Intern at Global Payments Inc. from May 2021 to October 2021. Katherine also gained experience as a Global Logistics Intern at Kimberly-Clark in summer 2019. Katherine holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Computer Science from the Georgia Institute of Technology, along with a study abroad experience in Mathematics through the Budapest Semesters in Mathematics program. Additionally, Katherine attended the Atlanta International School and participated in the Georgia Governor's Honors Program in 2017.
