Peng Lei

Peng Lei is an accomplished professional in the field of chemistry and process technology, currently serving as Plant Manager at Bayer since April 2019, where responsibilities include overseeing the production unit for crop protection. Prior to this role, Peng held various positions at Monsanto Company from January 2007 to April 2019, including Lead of Chemical Process Technology, where a multifunctional R&D team was managed to optimize and develop agrochemical manufacturing processes. Peng's earlier experience includes a Postdoctoral Research Associate position at Baylor University, focusing on organometallic chemistry. Educational credentials include a Ph.D. in Inorganic Chemistry from Texas A&M University, a Master’s Degree in Chemistry from Wuhan University, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry from Central South University.
