Sebastian Guth

President, Pharmaceuticals - Americas Region at Bayer

Sebastian Guth is the current President of Pharmaceuticals - Americas Region at Bayer. Sebastian has also previously worked as the EVP & Chief Marketing Officer and as a member of the Pharmaceuticals Executive Committee at Bayer Pharmaceuticals. In this role, they were responsible for leading the digital transformation of marketing at Bayer Pharmaceuticals. Sebastian has also initiated and led global partnerships with Janssen, Merck, Regeneron, and Santen Pharmaceuticals. Sebastian has extensive experience in investor relations and has played an integral part in developing investor confidence in Bayer’s commercial capabilities. Sebastian has also had full profit and loss ownership for Bayer’s global Radiology business where they delivered significant revenue and margin growth while gaining market share.

Sebastian Guth has a Diplom-Kaufmann, which is the German equivalent of an MBA, in Business Administration and Management, General from WHU - Otto Beisheim Graduate School of Management. Sebastian also has a Dr. rer. oec., which is the German equivalent of a PhD, from Technische Universität Berlin. In addition, they have an MBA from the University of Michigan - Stephen M. Ross School of Business and Université libre de Bruxelles.

They are on a team with Wei Jiang - President, China/AsiaPacific Region - Pharmaceuticals & Member of Executive Committee, Robert LaCaze - EVP, Head Strategic Business Unit - Oncology, and Gerd Krüger - Global President of Radiology, Pharmaceuticals.
