Yuko Ishii

Yuko Ishii is an accomplished professional in the field of oncology and translational science, currently serving as Senior Director at Bayer since June 2020, leading the IO and TKI programs and overseeing a commercial precision oncology landscape project. Prior experience includes roles as Director at Astellas Pharma US, where Yuko managed forward and reverse translation for multiple pre-IND drugs, and as Associate Director at Bristol-Myers Squibb, focusing on clinical biomarker strategy and execution for late-stage drug development. Yuko's extensive experience also encompasses positions at Agios Pharmaceuticals, Takeda Oncology, Eisai, and various academic institutions, contributing to significant advancements in cancer research and biomarker implementation. Yuko holds a PhD in Psychology from the University of Leeds and a BSc from the University of Reading.
