Martin Breitenbuecher

Martin Breitenbuecher has extensive work experience in the financial industry. Starting in 1997, they worked at Dresdner Bank AG in various roles, including Head of Risk and Business Area Controller. In 2004, they joined Allianz SE as a Project Manager for Group Risk. In 2007, they moved to Dresdner Kleinwort as the Director of Systematic Trading FICC, where they focused on risk management and revenue protection. In 2010, they joined ANZ as the Head of Regional Markets Asia & Pacific, leading trading and sales teams across multiple markets. Martin later became the Global Markets COO, executing a successful business strategy and enhancing risk governance. From 2017 to 2018, they served as the Principal at Pacific Blue Management. Since 2018, they have been working at Bayerische Landesbank as the Head of Group Market Risk & Performance.

Martin Breitenbuecher attended Saïd Business School, University of Oxford, where they completed the Oxford Fintech Programme. Martin also earned a Master's Degree in Business Administration (MSc) from the University of Tübingen between 1991 and 1996. Additionally, they participated in the Corporate Investment Banking Programme at INSEAD.
